I LOVED making this piece. She has many layers so there is a lot of rich texture happening here. You can see in the close up images I have etched through the paint to reveal some of the depth and added visual interest utilizing this technique. I also incorporated lace, ribbons, buttons, paper, ink, oils, and acrylics. Pretty much everything I love to work with in my mixed media pieces. She is a bit more than my other originals because of her size. I do feel she is even prettier in person and would look amazing against a white wall or a spot that needs a pop of color.
